I think about Real Estate in the greater Camrose area as “Coming Home.”
I was born and raised in Camrose, and it has always been home to me. Not saying that I moved far away because I didn’t. For more than 30 years, I have lived just east of Camrose on a farm with my husband. I guess you could say I have had the best of both worlds.
I started my work career in Camrose as the Executive Director of the Camrose Association for Community Living at 23. I “grew” with the organization, learning about business, people, and the importance of giving back to your community. During my 15 year tenure, services expanded, the budget increased to over 3.5 million, and staff grew to over 100. I also worked with a group of fabulous volunteers to raise $2,000,000 to expand the facility—this project connected me to the heart of Camrose and the surrounding area. I witnessed so much generous giving of time and money.

On the home front, my husband Lee and I were raising two beautiful girls who attended Bawlf school and were actively involved in sports. Not long after they began school, I decided it was time for a change that gave me the freedom to honor my most important value, family.
I became self-employed as a consultant, educator, facilitator, and mediator. For the past 16 years, I have been operating Naslund Consulting Group Inc., which morphed into LifeBright Learning across the Western Provinces. I love to learn and pass on my knowledge to others, and I need to be skilled and knowledgeable in whatever I do. The learning and sharing of information is a natural fit for me.
Through the years, I have learned the skills necessary to work in and on my business, including office management, time management, and organization. I also teach these skills to others. Lifelong learning is another value of mine.
My focus is always on improving service to my clients. So, I learn and strive to do better in whatever I undertake. In 2010, I completed the Conflict Management Program through the ADR Institute of Alberta and became a Chartered Mediator through the ADR Institute of Canada, experienced in mediation and negotiation – fairness and acceptance. I have a passion for leadership and personal development and have initiated training that aligned with my clients’ needs. Finally, social media has taken on a life of its own so, since 2018, I have been expanding my understanding of social media engagement and marketing.
I want to use what I have learned to provide quality service and support to the buyers and sellers who choose to work with me as their Realtor. I am driven and guided by my need to achieve success through hard work.
